Walnut Realty joins forces with RE/MAX Alliance to become RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut
“Due to our intense local knowledge, we often know about owners who are considering selling but have not yet listed their homes. We are often able to help buyers who are looking for specific features in a home but have not been able to find it elsewhere.”
Since 1975, thousands of people have passed by the windows of Walnut Realty at 11th and Walnut in downtown Boulder and paused to take a look at some of the most desirable local properties on the market. For many, it’s become a regular detour as they run their downtown errands. And with Walnut Realty’s recent merger with RE/MAX Alliance Colorado’s largest locally owned real estate organization, the new RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut is guaranteed to be an even bigger draw.
“After 38 years of successfully operating one of the larger independent real estate offices in Boulder, we felt the time was right to add the RE/MAX brand’s exceptional strength and resources,” explains Tom Kahn, partner at RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut and founder of Walnut Realty in 1974. “RE/MAX has huge market share in Boulder County, and this provides my agents with powerful tools, a huge internet and print media presence, and international reach. It’s a great cultural fit, too.”
The RE/MAX Alliance name is widely recognized and respected throughout Colorado and nationally, with over 700 real estate professionals and 20 offices located along the Colorado Front Range from Fort Collins to Castle Rock; Aurora to Evergreen; encompassing the entire Denver metro area. JD Power & Associates recently ranked the company “Highest Overall Satisfaction for Home Sellers and Home Buyers among National Full Service Real Estate Firms” and the Denver Business Journal ranks the company #1 in their Book of Lists.
The agents at RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut pride themselves on having a comprehensive knowledge of the local market. “Many people first become aware of Boulder first through an article they might have seen in Inc. Magazine, for instance, and they want to know what Boulder is all about. A lot of them are looking for a second home or thinking about retiring here, and they like the options Boulder offers. We can tell them all about the local industries, about CU, and the incredible lifestyles that we enjoy here. I like to say that we live, eat and breathe the local market.”
RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut staff stay up on the latest real estate trends and procedures through continuing education. And they focus on providing the best service they can. “Most of my agents are taking a class right now called ‘100 Days to Greatness,’” Kahn says. “They keep tuned in to local market offerings as we tour properties together that aren’t listed by our own office.”
Despite the expansion that comes with this partnership, RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut will continue its tradition of personalized service for buyers and sellers, no matter the property’s price point. “We pull out all the stops for each of our buyers and sellers,” Kahn explains. “They know they are in good hands.”
The lowest interest rates in recent history benefit both buyers and sellers. Many would-be sellers have delayed listing their homes, and the resulting lower inventory means that listed properties have less competition and receive a lot of interest.
“Due to our intense local knowledge, we often know about owners who are considering selling but have not yet listed their homes. We are often able to help buyers who are looking for specific features in a home but have not been able to find it elsewhere,” Kahn says.
