NORTHERN COLORADO – The Adams 12 Five Star School District is the 5th largest school district in Colorado and serves Broomfield, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton and Westminster residents.  This district, located just north of Denver, has almost 43,000 students in attendance and 57 different learning facilities around the area.  Spread between two counties, Adams and Broomfield, the Five Star District’s mission is to “engage and inspire students to innovate, achieve and succeed” while providing an environment that is not only safe but offers every opportunity to excel.

The Five Star District has received much praise by state educators and has demonstrated their academic achievements and growth on state assessments over the last several years.  In fact this last year, 2012, the district saw their highest performance to date on the ACTs, a college entrance exam, for 11th graders.  With their outstanding record, dedicated educators, and progressive environments, it’s no wonder that the Five Star District is expected to be the fastest growing school system in the metro Denver area over the course of 20 years.
