Goodacre & Co. – Locally owned, family run agency has been serving local real estate needs for over three decades

Goodacre & Co.

BOULDER COUNTY – First impressions can say a lot. And so it follows that when you go to Goodacre & Co.’s web site, the first thing you see is a virtual parade of some of the most desirable homes for sale in theBoulder area. “We really believe that promoting the sale of our clients’ homes has a higher priority than promoting ourselves, or our brand,” says managing broker Ken Roth. “As a small, family owned business, we have the luxury of focusing on our clients’ best interests by providing personalized, knowledgeable service. Our clients know that they will never get ‘lost in the shuffle’ as we concentrate more on the quality of their experience than the quantity of our transactions.” This personal approach has been the start of many successful real estate transactions and – more importantly – long-term relationships with sellers and buyers who can recommend Goodacre & Co. with confidence to their friends.

Company founder Bill Goodacre got his first glimpse of Colorado when he came here on a hockey scholarship at the age of 18. After college and a dozen years of real estate work in Texas, Bill returned to Colorado in the mid-70s and founded Goodacre & Co. Since that time, he has built a reputation as a knowledgeable, honest and effective Realtor and a leader in Boulder’s real estate community.

Tim Goodacre, Bill’s son, is a partner in Goodacre & Co. and brings nearly three decades of professional experience to the company. You could say he grew up in the business. He started by helping to fix up some of Bill’s listed properties, but by the time he was a freshman in college he had his Realtors license and was holding open houses for his dad. A Boulder resident since childhood, Tim enjoys various outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and two children.

Together, Bill and Tim have developed Goodacre & Co. into one of the top producing real estate agencies in Boulder County, claiming the most sales of homes over $1.5 million from 2006 to 2012. Each of the company’s 28 licensed brokers have an abundance of experience and an intimate knowledge of Boulder and what makes it such a special area to live in and raise a family. “We understand the personalities of the various neighborhoods and schools,” Ken Roth explains. “This familiarity is vital to meeting the diverse wants and needs of families relocating to the Boulder area, who are looking for just the right fit of living experience and value.” A long-time member of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, Goodacre & Co. has also helped to support the efforts of other local organizations through the years. They were proud to be a significant sponsor of last summer’s Pro Cycling Challenge, which brought thousands of cycling enthusiasts and spectators to town for the event.

Buying or selling a home involves a lot of details and decision making, and Goodacre & Co. works hard to create a seamless, uncomplicated experience. “We are an independent, tech savvy agency, so we have the freedom to choose the methods and procedures that serve our clients the best,” Ken Roth says. This includes using the latest digital tools and technologies to empower agents, promote client properties, and streamline the entire transactional process. And clients appreciate the rapport that Goodacre & Co.’s agents have with other local real estate offices, making it easy to put together all the pieces of a successful transaction.

Goodacre & Co.’s superior market knowledge results in their brokering of many deals for properties not actively for sale. Other offices in Boulder often contact them when there is nothing currently on the market that meets their client’s needs.
