LAFAYETTE – As Boulder County rapidly expands and families and retirees are searching for housing options that still allow them easy access to city amenities and the mountains, Harvest Ridge at Indian Peaks in Lafayette offers plenty of appeal.
Located on Baseline Road, just west of US 287, the new, award-winning McStain neighborhood offers the best of both worlds – including close access to the Hale Irwin signature Indian Peaks Golf Course, and being within walking distance of Waneka Lake Trail and Park.
Meet Harvest Ridge’s Newest Resident
Becky Roser is no stranger to McStain Neighborhoods. She knows the quality, sustainable products and the level of service that McStain practices, so when she found out about Harvest Ridge at Indian Peaks, she jumped on the opportunity to purchase a home.
Harvest Ridge’s three home designs were created with just-right dimensions in mind, providing a range of two-story floor plans that will appeal to both small families and empty nesters looking to maximize on housing value, but still remain very close to Boulder-area amenities.
“The options are truly endless,” says Roser.
Each of Harvest Ridge’s three- and four-bedroom homes include finished interior space between 2,139 and 2,384 square feet and an optional main floor master bedroom. Additional amenities and custom plan options are also available.
When talking about the floorplan of her home Roser states “it provides plenty of space for when her grandchildren come to visit.” This ultimately helped her make the decision to purchase the Orchard Plan, one of three home models offered at the community.
On top of that, she has been designing a gorgeous yet low-maintenance yard with a pergola, fire pit, and beautiful trees to become the ultimate outdoor living space.
“Working with the McStain team has been wonderful. They are responsive and have made the whole experience very positive.”
While Becky knew the craftsmanship of a McStain home was top of the line, it was really the location of Harvest Ridge that sealed the deal.
Lafayette is the home of McStain’s award winning community, Indian Peaks. As an avid golfer, living close to the Indian Peaks Golf Course was a big plus for Becky – “It is by far one of my favorite courses in Colorado”. Aside from golf, Becky is also very involved in the University of Colorado at Boulder scene. As a volunteer at the College of Music for many years and with grandchildren at the university, she loves the easy, 8-minute scenic drive to Boulder. She knows that you can’t beat the view of the Flatirons as you drive over the hill and into the beautiful city.
For those who appreciate getting out of town, the Lafayette location also makes for easier access to Denver International Airport.
“It has knocked at least 20 minutes off of my drive to the airport,” says Roser.
Folks looking for the simplicity of a “lock and leave” home will find Harvest Ridge a great base for business travel, and a wonderful place to return.
