Rogers Farm to offer single-family homes near original town.

Boulder Creek Neighborhoods, the award-winning homebuilder based in Downtown Louisville, is announcing a new low-maintenance community in Superior. The neighborhood is called Rogers Farm, and is planned to open for sale in Spring 2019 with a limited offering of single-family homes at the corner of Second and Douglas Streets in Original Town Superior.

The home sites at Rogers Farm were first platted at Superior’s founding in the late 1800s. Today, Superior is known as a “Best Place to Live”, ranked fourth in Colorado in 2018 by Niche.com.  Located directly across from the newly developed Superior Town Center, Rogers Farm will offer almost too-good-to-be-true conveniences including access to shops, restaurants, hotels and US-36 for quick jaunts into Boulder and Denver.

Boulder Creek has history in Superior – recently completing the successful Calmante townhome neighborhood, and currently selling the popular Calmante Villas patio homes. However, explains Jessica Champlin, Vice President of Marketing at Boulder Creek, “With as popular as Superior is with home shoppers, new single-family homes are a bit of a rarity.”

Boulder Creek seeks to deliver features that buyers are asking for to support their dream lifestyles. That’s the driving force behind the new series at Rogers Farm.

Seeking to fill this niche, Boulder Creek is looking to unveil a brand new series of single family home designs for Rogers Farm. True to the builder’s roots, the homes at Rogers Farm will be low-maintenance, meaning outdoor chores like front lawn maintenance and snow removal will be managed on behalf of the homeowner. “We’re excited to offer new features at Rogers Farm, in addition to carrying on our tradition of low-maintenance living,” said Champlin.

New homes, new features

Rogers Farm homes will focus on traditional two-story layouts – with a master bedroom upstairs and a main-floor master design (with additional bedrooms upstairs), ranging from 2,400 to 2,800 square feet.

Boulder Creek’s homes at Rogers Farm will be a bit of a departure from the builder’s well-known and award-winning patio home designs. This new series focuses more on traditional two-story layouts – with a master bedroom upstairs and a main-floor master design (with additional bedrooms upstairs), ranging from 2,400 to 2,800 square feet.

“Our patio homes appeal to baby boomers and empty nesters who are ready to leave stairs behind,” explains Champlin, “but we talk to younger homebuyers every day who are looking for a low-maintenance home to meet their needs as well.”  These buyers are looking for innovative features to support their own active lifestyles. Rogers Farm is set to deliver unique options; two to four-car garages with oversized garage doors, above-garage storage space, oversize sliding glass doors to bring the outdoors in, large family foyers, right-sized fenced backyards, guest suites and dedicated home offices.

Of course, Rogers Farm also showcases home features that today’s buyer has come to expect – spacious kitchens, open floorplans for flexible living and entertaining, and essential outdoor relaxing spaces for Colorado evenings.   Three to five bedrooms will ensure plenty of privacy for families, guests, or maybe college students back for (hopefully) short stays. The tall ceilings, classic finishes, and innovative touches at Rogers Farm will impart a distinctly Colorado, dynamic feel to this exclusive Superior neighborhood of just 26 homes.

It’s clear that these homes have been designed with the buyer in mind.

“Listening is part of our DNA,” says Champlin. “We seek to deliver features in our homes that buyers are asking for to support their dream lifestyles. That’s the driving force behind the new series at Rogers Farm.”

Low-maintenance solutions designed with your time in mind

Indeed, Boulder Creek is delivering low-maintenance solutions to traveling professionals, working parents, and locals in retirement who yearn for mornings without snow shoveling, weekends without mowing, and free time to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.

“We’re excited to bring a low-maintenance lifestyle into a different segment of the housing market,” says Champlin. “So often, our patio homes don’t really accommodate the family buyer – even those that are seeking a home that provides the opportunity for less chores and more free time.”

Regardless of floorplan, each Boulder Creek home weaves quality construction with a commitment to low-maintenance living long before a foundation is poured. “Our homes are designed from the outset to be low-maintenance,” said Boulder Creek Marketing Coordinator Adrian Johnson. Whether that’s in the materials selected, the modern construction techniques employed, or the Energy Star-rated high-efficiency appliances installed in the home, each decision is driven by the desire to keep the home as low-maintenance as possible.

“These low-maintenance features help you worry less about the home, and they also benefit your monthly energy spend,” mentions Johnson. Rogers Farm homes will include top Energy Star-rated appliances and high-efficiency furnaces. This commitment to quality enables Boulder Creek to offer their homeowners peace-of-mind – not something you can find in an aging resale home.

Champlin concurs, “From the plan designs to the materials used to the layout of the community and the landscaping, Boulder Creek Neighborhoods is very intentional to build a low-maintenance community that enhances the lifestyle of the homeowner.”

Boulder Creek’s patio homes appeal to baby boomers and empty nesters who are ready to leave stairs behind but they also appeal to younger homebuyers who are looking for a low-maintenance home to meet their needs as well.

Superior’s superior views, local flavor

With easy access to the Coal Creek Trail and surrounding open space, homeowners will enjoy walking, biking, and hiking in the foothills. Superior counts more than 590 acres of parks, green space and open space and 27 miles of trails within the town’s four square miles.

Moreover, just across the street from Rogers Farm is a revitalization of Original Town Superior well underway. Restaurants, boutique hotels, retail shopping, indoor sports facility and more are taking shape. “Superior is enjoying a rejuvenation in the front yard of this neighborhood, and it’s all uniquely walkable,” Johnson said.

The Denver Airport is 30 minutes away, and there’s no shortage of things to do throughout Boulder County, with its proximity to the mountains, prime eateries, craft breweries and art galleries.

Homes at Rogers Farm are scheduled to open for sale in Spring of 2019 and are limited in availability. “We are very pleased with the high interest already generated for Rogers Farm and urge interested families to contact us soon because only 26 lots are available,” Champlin said. She recommends joining the interest list at DwellRogersFarm.com to be the first to learn about community development updates, launch events, and the first release of floorplans, homesite maps and final pricing. Champlin anticipates homes will be priced in the mid-$800s – quite a value for a new home in any Boulder County neighborhood.
