Pat Kahler, RE/MAX Alliance

LONGMONT – Realtor® Pat Kahler of RE/MAX Alliance has reached an impressive milestone. “I have just completed my 30th year in residential real estate in Northern Colorado. It has been 30 great years, and I am grateful to the people who have helped me succeed and to my many clients. I’ve loved houses since I was young; I was drawing pictures of them at 8 years old.”

Pat specializes in property sales on the Front Range, including the northern Denver Metro area real estate market. She divides her time evenly between helping buyers and sellers.

A Colorado native, she grew up in Loveland, graduated from Loveland High School and went on to Colorado State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Housing and Design. She started out in Denver, designing home interiors, floor plans and kitchens for new construction and remodels.

She recently purchased a new townhome for herself at Prospect in Longmont. “I love design and I love color. I chose custom colors and finishes for my new townhome. Markel’s floor plan remains unchanged, but I put my stamp on the interior.”

Experience, commitment and passion
“Having an experienced and seasoned professional can really make the difference for a homebuyer or seller,” Pat explains. “Someone who knows the market and has the network and has worked with other Realtors is a must. I’ve been through all the good and bad markets, and I notice when things start to change.”

Her experience includes years of education not only for her real estate license, but also to improve her skills in communication, negotiations, construction, new design ideas and products, and housing trends. “I understand the constantly changing market and how to position both buyers and sellers for success; how to establish relationships with experienced lenders, title companies, appraisers, inspectors, contractors and more; being the “go-to” person for information and referrals for real estate; working with second-and third-generations of my clients’ families.”

Commitment means finding the answers to questions, handling tough issues and concerns, being available, “and giving more than 100 percent; caring about clients and making their needs my top priority.”

Pat describes passion as “sharing my enthusiasm for real estate opportunities and helping people develop a plan or vision for owning and enjoying real estate. I love homes and love sharing ideas for design, improvements, color, and everything related to making a house a home!”

She points out, too, “Having an assistant as I have makes all the difference; it allows me to focus my time on my clients and the properties. When someone works with me they have all my attention through the whole process. I love sitting down and hearing their story, what they’re looking for, whether it’s their first home or not, or whether they are selling their home. My experience and understanding of real estate make a difference. I have intuitive negotiating skills, based on all my years in the business. I make this work for my clients.”

Amy Darcy, who has been Pat’s trusted assistant since 2008, says, “Pat has worked with all types of clients – sellers who are moving up or downsizing, first-time buyers, investors, retirees and trustees of estates. She knows the market, is well versed in all types of properties, and goes above and beyond in each transaction. She has a vast referral base. Her clients are always passing her name on to their friends and family members because they’re confident she will do an exceptional job for them, too.

“Pat is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure her clients achieve their goals. It’s all about the clients for Pat. She is skilled at keeping everyone calm during even the most emotional or challenging transactions. She is communicative, available, dedicated, dependable, driven, responsive and generous as well as honest, ethical and well respected.

“Pat is passionate about all aspects of real estate, from preparing homes for market to helping direct sellers to the best vendors so they can have repairs done. From the first showing to the final closing, she will be the ever-present force to ensure it all goes smoothly. Ever since she was a young girl, she has been passionate about it and it shows. I am very proud to call Pat my boss. It is such a privilege to work as her assistant!”
