For WK Real Estate, Boulder’s largest independent real estate company, community has always been a clear and central value. Since 1976, WK Real Estate has been pursuing a mission to increase quality of life in Boulder and the surrounding communities by finding the perfect property for each and every one of their clients. This commitment to prioritize their clients’ needs has earned them a number of accolades, including recognition as the top real estate company in the Longmont Times-Call Readers Choice Awards for six consecutive years and have earned more than 21 Daily Camera Boulder County Gold awards in the categories of Best Real Estate Company and Best Customer Service.
“Our staff is second to none,” says Dan Kingdom, managing broker/owner of WK Real Estate. “We provide solid support services to each of our agents, including a full-time IT director, the most experienced relocation department in the area, excellent marketing/technology and social media experts and dedicated transaction coordinators who help make everything flow smoothly.”
The WK Real Estate team offers both local expertise and global opportunity. The company is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), an invitation-only network of agencies across the globe. “We are associated with the world’s market-leading independent residential brokerages in over 70 countries, enabling us to assist our clients with their real estate needs anywhere in the country and in many areas around the world,” says Kingdom. “LeadingRE is based on the unparalleled performance and trusted relationships that result in exceptional client experiences.” Through LeadingRE’s Luxury Portfolio®, WK Real Estate offers an expansive international influence and search tools to its local customers. WK Real Estate also sets itself apart by employing a full-time relocation team, so your move – wherever it takes you – can be as smooth of a transition as possible.
While WK Real Estate’s top-notch service and highly experienced team can help you move anywhere in the world, the company continues to prioritize local community service in a variety of ways. Last year, WK Real Estate initiated the #DoMore2018 campaign, with a special emphasis on going above and beyond to give back to organizations in the Boulder County community. Individually, WK Real Estate agents participate in more than 100 volunteer events and organizations.
#DoMore2018 kicked-off at the annual meeting in January, when staff and agents fromWK Real Estate donated 160 pounds of food and more than $2,533 to the local food bank Community Food Share. WK Real Estate then matched those individual donations for a total donation of more than 7800 meals. This contribution was also matched with some hard work when the WK Real Estate team volunteered at the Community Food Share warehouse to sort, bag and repackage food.
WK Real Estate also participates in the Community Food Share Corporate Challenge. Over the course of three weeks, companies compete to raise money and provide food goods to more than 15,000 students over the summer months. These students, who receive free and reduced price meals at their Boulder County and Broomfield County schools, experience serious food insecurity while school is out on break. For every $40 raised, one student can be fed 120 summer meals.
This past school year was the inaugural year for the WK Real Estate Scholarship at Leeds School of Business at CU. The company awards two $2,500 scholarships annually to local students from Boulder, Broomfield, Weld, Larimer, Jefferson and Gilpin counties. Any Leeds student who can prove financial need is eligible for the scholarships – not only those studying real estate. The WK Real Estate Scholarship is one of only 19 need-based scholarships offered at the Leeds School of Business. Also, one of the scholarships gives preference to students from Colorado who are the first generation in their family to attend college.
WK Real Estate participates in Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley; rakes and mows lawns for the elderly during the Boulder Area Realtor Association’s annual yard clean up; and spends time volunteering for Project Home with Boulder County Care Connect. WK agents also volunteer to serve hot meals to guests of Bridge House, whose Path to Home program works to quickly rehouse individuals and provide them with resources and support.
While it’s already been a busy 2019 for the company, WK Real Estate’s community involvement continues with their annual 4th of July fireworks sponsorship at Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast on Folsom Field. WK Real Estate is also the Transportation Sponsor for Rhythm on the River in Longmont on July 12 and 13. The company continues to host fundraisers for Community Food Share and encourage financial and in-kind donations at their offices, and will also continue to embark on quarterly service initiatives.
These initiatives are all part of WK Real Estate’s overarching mission to maintain and improve the quality of life for residents of Boulder County and beyond. This commitment is apparent not only in their community service efforts, but also in the unparalleled customer service they provide to their clients. At WK Real Estate, community comes first.
