One never really knows which way things will fall in the current housing market. Or so it seems. With so many unpredictable factors at play today, such as an unsteady economy and coronavirus concerns, it’s easy to think it’s not the right time to sell your home or purchase a new one. It can be even more difficult if you’re looking for something particular and very much in keeping with the outdoors, mountain vibe of Northern Colorado.
The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that much of a challenge. With a qualified REALTOR® possessing experience, instinct, and a proven track record, you can buy or sell a home with confidence and know that you will get what you’re after.
All you need is a proven professional at your side like John Feeney.
Serving Loveland and surrounding Northern Colorado communities, John Feeney has been successfully helping clients buy and sell homes for seven years. In addition to his experience facilitating residential sales and new construction, John has a particular love and skill in handling land deals, rural properties, and helping people find the mountain properties of their dreams.
He sums up his real estate philosophy as:
“I believe people should be treated the way they wish to be treated. This belief is at the core of who I am and how I approach anything I do in life. As your REALTOR®, I will pay attention to your wants and needs and find the best real estate options available to fit those requirements. I also promise to communicate promptly and follow through with my commitments to you during this very important time.”
As a dedicated outdoorsman, it’s no wonder that John settled in Loveland. While growing up in the rural, northwestern part of New Jersey with its rolling hills and farmland, he first fell in love with the outdoors. While most kids were hanging out at the mall, John was out hiking and camping. During his later teen years, he discovered the wonders of racing mountain bikes, and most of his mountain bike heroes happened to hail from Colorado. This sparked his love and interest in Colorado and its beautiful mountains.
In 2004, John and his wife (now a principal in the Thompson school district) made the long-awaited move to Colorado—inspired by their first visit together in 1997. They settled in Loveland and haven’t looked back. John’s love of the outdoors has only increased since landing in Northern Colorado, where he enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. His interests also include traveling, woodworking, home improvement, and log homes.
His connection with mountain life makes him the perfect person to have by your side when looking for mountain property and land.
John spent ten years working in analytical chemistry before moving on to a rewarding career in real estate. His chemistry background required great attention to detail to ensure the quality of his products. This experience has carried over into his real estate career in his desire to help people find homes that best meet their needs and wants.
John Feeney is a member of several professional organizations such as the REALTORS® Land Institute, the Land Broker CO-OP, the National Association of REALTORS®, the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, and the Loveland-Berthoud Association of REALTORS®.
He has a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) Designation—one of the top designations in real estate taught nationally by the Real Estate Negotiation Institute and holds a certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS) Designation in which he is trained and equipped to handle with excellence the home purchase needs of active duty and former military clients.
He is also a supporter of Loveland Habitat for Humanity and a member of their Board of Directors.
Regarding some of his experience, John says:
“I specialize in working with both buyers and sellers in Loveland and the surrounding communities of Northern Colorado. While I’ve helped buy and sell many residential homes over the years, I feel I have a particular connection with people who enjoy the outdoors and the unique beauty of Northern Colorado. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than knowing I’ve helped match someone up with the perfect mountain or rural property.
“It’s important to me to serve the needs of anyone looking to buy or sell in Northern Colorado. Each transaction requires a unique understanding of the intricacies involved in the specific property type. I enjoy the challenge, and I enjoy helping people fulfill their dreams.”
